Andrew was born in Tucker, GA. At the age of three his parents relocated to Indianapolis. About two years later Andrew began his musical career studying piano at the Yamaha School of Music in Indianapolis, IN after which he studied privately. In 1992 he was relocated once again, this time to Sterling Heights, MI. While there, Andrew studied private piano, voice, and trumpet. At the age of fourteen he began to write simple melodies and harmonies to lyrics written by his father. He was active in his High School's bands (concert/jazz), choir, and theatre (musical/dramatic) departments earning high recognition in each respect.

In the year 2000 Andrew graduated from High School. He attended Central Michigan University to study Trumpet but soon changed to Music Theatre Performance and briefly to Vocal Performance. After careful thought and long debate Andrew decided to complete a B.F.A. in Music Theatre Performance (Graduating in 2007) with hopes of attending graduate school to study Composition. Though his main focus was on performance and singing, he continued to write throughout his collegiate career. While at CMU he had the privilege of working with composers Scott R. Harding, Jose-Luis Maúrtua, and David R. Gillingham.

Andrew always sets large goals for himself in everything he does accepting nothing but perfection. Andrew began his career with a great undertaking writing a spectacle in honor of those lost in the United States Civil War "The Battle Grounds" for Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Since then, Andrew has written original music for several theatrical productions including a short ballet (A Mother’s Love) and underscoring for several shows (ex. Moliere’s Tartuffe). Andrew has been honored to write music for critically acclaimed performers such as Dr. Eric Hoy Tucker (Southern Salute) and Dr. Alexandra Mascolo-David (Nocturne for Piano). Andrew is a member of The Society of Composers International and is registered through ASCAP.

Andrew loves to write for many mediums. Some long term goals that he wishes to obtain include writing an Opera, Musical, and scoring Film and Television to name a few.
